User Content: VEME collects, processes and stores user content, which includes clips provided by approved users, AI-generated content and information provided in the user's profile, solely for the provision and enhancement of the functionality available on the platform. User content will be stored on servers of external storage services. We are committed to maintaining the security of this content and information, and will not share it with unauthorised third parties, unless required by law or for the operation of the platform.

Google Analytics: This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). Payment Data: Payment data refers to information related to the user's payment details, such as name, phone number, email address, card number, expiration date, security code, etc., depending on the payment method selected by the user when purchasing a subscription. Your payment data will be processed by the payment processors available on this platform, which will process and store your data securely and for the sole purpose of processing subscription payments. VEME reserves the right to contract any payment processor available.

Contact information: We may access some personal information about the user, such as name and email address, when the user or any third party communicates with us through our contact information. Personal information provided through our contact information is not stored on any VEME server and will be stored on the respective server of our email service.

4. AI MODEL TRAINING AND DATA USE

VEME uses artificial intelligence (AI) models as part of its functionality to generate and improve video and meme content. In order to optimise these services and provide you with a personalised and efficient user experience, we may use the content you create and interact with, as well as other data related to your use of the platform, to train and refine our AI models. This includes improving the accuracy and cultural relevance of the content generated, as well as optimising the platform to better suit your preferences and needs.

All data we use to train our AI models will be treated in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). To ensure your privacy, we will take steps to anonymise or pseudonymise any personal data before we use it, where possible. This means that any data that can directly identify you will be processed in such a way that it cannot be linked to your identity, unless it is strictly necessary for the provision of our services.

If you decide to delete your account or stop using the platform, VEME may continue to use the data collected in an anonymised form for the purpose of further optimising its services, ensuring that such data will not be linked to your identity or used to identify you in any way.

5. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

Personal data provided by users through the platform will be retained for the time necessary to provide the functionalities available on the platform, to fulfil the legitimate purposes described in section 5 of this policy or until the user closes the user account or requests the deletion of their data. VEME may retain personal data for a longer period provided that the user has consented to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. In addition, VEME may be obliged to retain personal data for a longer period provided that this is required for compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority. Once the retention period has expired, the personal data will be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right of deletion, the right of rectification and the right to data portability cannot be asserted after the retention period has expired.

Anonymous Information. VEME uses anonymous browsing information collected automatically by our servers primarily to help us administer and improve the platform. We may also use aggregated anonymous information to provide information about the platform to potential business partners and other unaffiliated entities. The request to exercise their rights will be attended and answered within a maximum period of 10 working days.
